Created in 2008 Vende-se Filmes is a Lisbon television production company. Its audiovisual production focus on innovative approaches that promote reflection on current and relevant themes of the contemporary society, the artistic, scientific culture and historical propagation, with a strong sense of public service and with internationalization in mind. Vende-se Filmes is equally interested in exploring audiovisual styles and content that help to see the society, the art, the history and the science in a new light and in a playful and original way.

At a national level, we work with different television operators (RTP, NOS-TV Cine, OSTV-Canal 180, Odisseia, Fox Life) and, in the international market, we have recently released the drama TV series MADRE PAULA (The King’s Favorite), screened in RTP1 prime time and winner of a Sophia Award (Portuguese Academy) for Best Television Show 2017. Following up on MADRE PAULA’s success, CIRCO PARAÍSO (Paradise Descends) premiered in 2018 with two seasons in RTP1 prime time. We regularly produce documentary magazines for different national channels, being the most recent ones, JOIAS, PARA QUE VOS QUERO? (A Jewel by Any Other Name) e MADEIRA PRIMA (Out of the Woodwork) for RTP2, and CHEF DE FAMÍLIA (Family Chef), with Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, for Fox Life.

Currently we are developing some other documentary series about themes as diverse as Education, Contemporary Art, Society, scientific innovation, Film History, and also three new fiction drama TV show, one of which aimed at a juvenile audience.



Lisbon, 1977. Filipa graduated in Management and Business Administration from the Portuguese Catholic University. At the same school she did postgraduate studies in Cinema and Television. She attended the master’s degree in Film Project Development from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. In 2008 she founded Vende-se Filmes where in colaboration with João Miller Guerra she develops audiovisual projects and television programs. She also develops cinema projects under the brand Uma Pedra no Sapato, alongside João Miller Guerra.


Lisbon, 1974. João graduated in Design from Lisbon’s School of Technology and Architecture. At AR.CO – Centre of Arts and Visual Communication – he completed his academic studies in Fine Arts. He’s a co-founder of Vende-se Filmes where alongside Filipa Reis he develops projects for television. He develops cinema projects under the brand Uma Pedra no Sapato, side by side with Filipa.


Loures, 1990. Catarina studied Cinema at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. She’s been with Vende-se Filmes ever since graduating. She works as an Editor and as a Post-Production Supervisor.


Sines, 1984. Daniela graduated in Sound and Image from Caldas da Rainha’s School of Arts and Design. Her career is as long as Vende-se Filmes existance, where she’s always worked. She’s the Production Manager on various projects, sometimes accumulating first AD’s duties as well.
