ID is a television program which asserts itself as a space for reflection about emigration, the sense of origin and the feeling of belonging as felt by youths of diverse origins residing in Portugal, mirroring their concerns and their day-to-day lives through the use of Cinema.

In a total of 13 episodes of 25 minutos each, ID presents the development of cinema workshops in four districts of different zones of Portugal, from north to south: Bela Vista, in Setúbal, Rosa e Ingote, in Coimbra, Apelação, in Loures, and Casal da Mira, in Amadora.

8 young participants go into each workshop with the help of trainers-directors, who help them direct short films. The winner received a one-year course at Lisbon’s
